DACYP finalises NYK Annual Action Plan 2021-22

DODA, Dec 27: District Advisory Committee for Youth Programs (DACYP) of Nehru Yuva Kendra Doda met today to discuss and finalise the Annual Action Plan for the year 2021-22.
The meeting was chaired by Deputy Commissioner, Vikas Sharma,.
The DC asked NYK to devise a mechanism to hold the activities in collaboration with the line departments of District Administration for better outcomes. He asked to lay special focus on eradication of social evils, especially Drugs menace. He advised the Kendra to hold awareness programmes, ensuring the participation of the Mission Youth Clubs, Medical Department and Labour department. He directed the NYK management to utilise the services of volunteers for the 100% registration and coverage of the left out beneficiaries under Ayushman Bharat and e shram schemes. He further directed to devise Block wise schedule of registration camps by NYK volunteers where VLEs, Health officials, RDD Officials and revenue Officials shall facilitate the smooth and on the spot registration.
He stressed that District Administration should be made aware about the outcomes and impact analysis of such programs. It was directed to give wide and prior publicity of the events to be organised.
The Deputy Commissioner directed for submission of list of NYK members to all the committee members so that they shall also coordinate with them for conducting any special activity in their respective jurisdictions.
The Chairman further asked to finalise the activities after consulting the members of the committee and follow result oriented approach.
The meeting was attended by GM DIC, CPO Doda, CMO Doda, SDM Gandoh, DIO Doda, CAO, DSWO Doda, DYSSO Doda, District Youth officer NYK, AD Employment besides other officials of the department.
