Dogri Bhasha Academy Jammu organizes literary program

JAMMU, Dec 27: Dogri Bhasha Academy, Jammu organized a literary program at KR Resort in Akhnoor town. The title of the program was Virat Kavi Sammelan and Virat Samman Samaroh. The program was presided over by former minister and BJP leader Sham Lal Sharma and Padma Shri Narsingh Dev Jamwal and Padma Shri Jitendra Udhampuri. SDarshan Darshi, connoisseur of Dogri language, Dhyan Singh and Chairman, Team Jammu, Zorawar Singh were the special guests. The program started with the welcome of all the dignitaries by the founder of the academy, Yash Pal Nirmal, President Roshan Baral explained in detail about the program that it is a dream come true to see all the Dogri language litterateurs of Jammu province together on one platform.
Darshan Darshi in his speech said that this is a very big literature fair and this kind of program is being held for the first time in Jammu and Kashmir and congratulated all the organizers for this. Writer Dhyan Singh praised all the Ajoyaks, calling this program the Kumbh of literature. Writer Prakash Premi said that doing this type of work by a private organization is not less than a big surprise. Chief guests Padma Shree Narsingh Dev Jamwal and Padma Shree Jitendra Udhampuri said that today for the first time it was felt that there is no dearth of people working in Dogri language. Former minister Sham Lal Sharma, who presided over the program, said that the hard work that the organizers had put in for this big event was successful, the program was very good. On this occasion, Surendra Sagar was awarded the Dogra Journalist Award, Shamsher Singh Charak, MD, Dainik State Samachar News was also honored for his cooperation, all litterateurs, poets, artists and lyricists including Dr. Naseeb Singh Manhas, Mohan Singh Salathia, Shiv Dev Sushil, Om Vidyarthi, Inderjit Kesar, Parveen Sharma, Dr. Ashok Khajuria, Dhyan Singh, Prakash Premi, Dr. Gyan Singh, Dr. Sandeep Sufi, Dr. Yash Raina, Brahmadutt, Sunil Kumar, Brij Mohan, Dr. Shalini Rana, Dr. Sushma, Dr. Rattan Basotra, Rekha Thakur, Chander Shekhar Cartoonist, Rishi Kavi, Sunil Kumar, Tara Chand Kalandaria, Varsha Jamwal, Sonali Dogra, Kewal Kumar Kewal, Dr. Kuldeep Dogra, Babu Bhatti, Jugal Chandan, Harbans Harsh, Harsh Kalotra were honored. Former Farmers Advisory Board Vice Chairman Daljit Singh Chib, Former MLA Krishan Lal, Member of District Development Council Bhushan Baral and Engineer Ashok Choudhary were present on this occasion.
