Srinagar, Dec 27: A hotel suffered massive damage in a fire incident at Mammar area of Kangan in central Kashmir district of Ganderbal on Sunday, Fire and Emergency office said.
They said the fire broke out around 8:30 in the morning in the attic of a two story hotel “Snow Land” in Mammar area of Kangan and engulfed the whole structure within no time.
It took four fire tenders at least five hours to douse the flames, they said, and added the cause of fire was an electric short circuit.
However, no one was injured in the incident, they added.
