Early Times Report
JAMMU, Dec 27: Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP leader and former Dy Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta while welcoming the maiden J&K Real Estate Conference held in Jammu and Kashmir in which several MoUs were signed by the J&K Government with real estate giants of the nation, has said that these MoUs will go a long way in boosting the industrial development and overall economy of Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory.
While interacting with members of National Real Estate Development Council in Jammu, the former Deputy Chief Minister stated that today there is a dire need to create an optimum congenial atmosphere in this terrorism infested region for the brighter future of our youth. He said that the most positive aspect is that investors from across the nation and even abroad are evincing keen interest to invest in a variety of sectors in Jammu and Kashmir. He reiterated that it is after the abrogation of Art 370 from the erstwhile State, that Jammu and Kashmir is on the path of unprecedented development after decades of turmoil. Development projects to the tune of thousands of crores of rupees have been started in the Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory at an unprecedented pace which has never ever been seen in the history of Jammu and Kashmir.
Kavinder Gupta said that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) believes in 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikaas and Sabka Vishwas' as a result of which the party has been progressing by leaps and bounds with each passing day. He said that it is the performance of the party and its Govt on ground especially in terms of development that speaks for itself. He said that while the Govt stands committed to overall development of every area especially in Jammu and Kashmir it is necessary that people also ensure proactive participation by monitoring the works especially the quality of material used in the developmental works. He appealed to the people of Jammu and Kashmir to come forward and support the development policies of Jammu and Kashmir for the overall development of each and every nook and corner of the Union Territory. He asserted that through proactive participation in the developmental process initiated by the UT Administration, they shall be playing their due role in the nation building at large and Jammu and Kashmir in particular.
