Abrogation of Article 370 in best interest of J&K: NCP | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Dec 30: National President Youth Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), Dheeraj Sharma, said that the departments do not utilize the provided funds in transparent manner and timely for infrastructure building thereby putting the people to suffer and leave them in dismay and anger. Addressing a press conference here today, Dheeraj Sharma said that the concerned Administrative authorities are over smart in befooling the people by their tall claims of making the Jammu as a real smart City. It is ironic and unfortunate that the Jammu region stands always neglected and discriminated right from dawn of democracy in all fields-the criminal reasons best known to the leaders of Kashmir valley who ruled J&K for decades together as 'Rajas' at the cost of common people, he added. Sharma said that there were certain historical and political blunders and hence the abrogation of Article 370 was in best interest of JKUT which was a hurdle for socio-economic development for both the regions of J&K. Sharma said that NCP party will contest the elections for the welfare of people. Meanwhile Dheeraj Kumar, Ranjit Singh from Toph Sherkhanian, Pooja, Pawan Kumar Pandita and other prominent activists joined NCP. While briefing the media, National Joint Secretary and Spokesperson Youth Er Rishi Kilam said that time has come to empower Kashmiri Pandits with socio-economic and political benefits, adding that the KP community is living in exile and struggling for their sustenance. Er Rishi urged the concerned quarters to put forward the genuine demands and issues of the KP community as well as the problems of youth of both the regions. Kamal Gupta, JKUT NCP President said that the delimitation commission should recommend reservation of Assembly and Lok Sabha seats for exiled KP community as well as for Sikhs of JKUT. |
