YCET faculty delivered talk on "Innovation, Entrepreneurship, Incubation and IPR"

JAMMU, Dec 30: Dean Academics of Yogananda College of Engineering & Technology (YCET) Er Dinesh Gupta, has been invited by SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram Chennai to conduct a session on "Innovation, Entrepreneurship, IPR and Incubation". This activity was conducted under IIC Driven Activity which is under Institutions Innovation Council- A MHRD Govt of India Initiative. Er Dinesh Gupta conducted this session today.
Session was started with the Innovation, Difference between Invention and Innovation, Principles of Successful Innovation, Techniques of Innovation. During the lecture, he also explained the importance of Entrepreneurship.
Then he explained about business incubators, he told that the business incubators have grown considerably in recent years. This rise is due to several factors, such as corporate downsizing, increased entrepreneurship, new technologies, economic globalization and the transfer of technology.
He told that there is no dearth of start-ups that work on a brilliant idea with a huge scope of scaling. However, these companies have little knowledge about management, and therefore, burn cash rapidly. In the last, he explained the four benefits of IP Rights in current times At the end, Er Dinesh Gupta thanked R Sathya, Innovation Ambassador and organizer of the session and management of SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram Chennai for inviting him and giving him opportunity to deliver guest lecture. The exposure to knowledge and modern trends proved many folds beneficial to those who took this opportunity in the fullest to participate in such events. He also mentioned the immense gratitude for the management of YCET and Dr. AK Srivastava, Director YCET for allowing him to deliver the guest lecture.
