Early Times Report JAMMU, Dec 30: Team Aradhana-A Ray of hope, organized student exchange program in collaboration with Indian Army. Aradhana a ray of hope is a self-funded non-profit organization that is working for the holistic development of the less fortunate children in our society. The main arena of focus is on their education alongside developing responsible and socially sensible individuals. Since the induction, its efforts to serve the children with respect to their education and overall development has always yielded good results and brought about significant changes in thousand lives. Over the years, the organization has done various collaborations for events and great learning opportunities. One such recent association was with Indian Army wherein both the sides organized a student exchange program. The program aimed to give children insights about the places, cultures, traditions and new learnings. First phase went quiet smoothly when our children visited Kashmir. In the second phase, 40+ students visited us from Kashmir for a 2 day tour. Visit to Bagh-e-Bahu aquarium, Amar Mahal Palace and Museum, Manda Park and Hari Singh Park took place on the Day 1. On the 2nd day, children visited the Surinsar lake, Mansar lake, played team sports, attended purposeful life sessions and celebrated with delight. Various cultural events took place. On both the days, children relished the cuisines of the state. Monika Mitter, Satish Mehra Sahil Sehgal, Harsh Malhotra, Bhanu Kiran, Sumit Mahajan, Avinash Bogal, Manish Sharma, Ruth Walter, Devansh Anand, Varun Arora, Deepak Anand, Rashi Gandral, Swati Gandral, Kushal and Keshav participated in the event. |
