Early Times Report KATHUA, Dec 30: On the second and final day of the First Aid training program being conducted by the Red Cross Unit of Government Degree College Kathua in collaboration with Red Cross Society Kathua and SDRF at Degree College Kathua, the district unit of SDRF trained volunteers to use safety measures in times of disaster. Trainers provided training in safety equipment especially. On the last day of this programme volunteers got information about different types of equipment in the time of disaster by operating the equipment themselves. Dr. Manisha Sharma, who is a specialist in first aid, gave practical training to the volunteers about how to use their knowledge in times of disaster while giving information about first aid to the volunteers. Similarly, another expert Dr. Ishrat also gave practical information to the volunteers. Secretary of Indian Red Cross Society Kathua, Om Prakash organized two Rosa training camps for first aid training to volunteers in this two Rosa training camp, Youth Red Cross Unit Degree College Kathua Coordinator Prof Ritu Kumar Sharma, College Principal Prof Raj Kiran, expert doctor, Dr. Manisha Sharma and Dr. Ishrat ji, for whose cooperation this camp could be completed. On this occasion Satyapal Mansotra, Sunil Singh, Radha Sharma, NSS volunteers Dimpy Sharma and Praveen Sharma were present on this occasion. |
