| Stolen bike recovered, notorious bike lifter arrested | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
UDHAMPUR, Dec 30: On a written complaint of one Rajesh Singh, S/o Nanak Singh R/o Sangoor, Udhampur to the fact that unknown thief/thieves have stolen his bike bearing registration JK14A-4952 from outside his house, a case FIR No. 487/2021 was registered at PS Udhampur and investigation taken up. During the course of investigation Police team of PS Udhampur led by Insp. Chaman Gorkha SHO PS Udhampur under the supervision of Addl. SP Udhampur Anwaar Ul Haq and DySP Hqrs. Udhampur Sahil Mahajan raided at different places for the search of accused person as well as stolen vehicle. On further investigation, Udhampur Police zeroed on one suspect namely Abhishek Dogra S/o Purshotam Kumar R/o Lambi Gali, Udhampur who was subjected to thorough questioning wherein he broke down and confessed the commission of offence and disclosed the involvement of a juvenile also.
On the disclosure of accused persons, police party recovered the said stolen bike from Cooperative office Udhampur. Further investigation was going on. |
