JAMMU, Dec 31: Director Youth Services and Sports, J&K, Gazanfar Ali reviewed the arrangements for selecting and preparing the contingent of Jammu & Kashmir for the prestigious National Youth Festival 2022 to be held at Puducherry from January 12 to January 16 in a meeting held here today.
The selection and preparation process for J&K contingent will take place at Zorawar Auditorium, University of Jammu from January 1 to January 6, before the contingent is flagged off for the National Youth Festival on the concluding day. Director Sports said that various committees have been framed for smooth and successful conduct of the preparatory camp for UT of J&K contingent, adding the committees constituted include Control Room, Registration Committee, Ceremony Committee, Boarding & Lodging Committee, Transport Committee, Medical Committee and Press & Publicity Committee. Ali while serving strict directions to the concerned officers and officials, said that the Principal Secretary to Government Youth Services and Sports Department, J&K, Alok Kumar is keen to see youth of the Union Territory flourish, so is leaving no stone unturned in guiding and goading both the sports agencies of the Union Territory. |
