Samba, Jan 2 :District Police Samba today arrested a person impersonating as a Army Officer in the jurisdiction of Police Station Bari-Brahmana. A police team of Police Station Bari-Brahmana while patrolling at Telli Basti area, noticed one person in army uniform roaming under suspicious circumstances. On questioning, the said person did not give any satisfactory anwser and unable to produce his army identity card which create more suspicion among the patrolling party. On sustained interrogation, the accused disclosed that he is not an army officer and impersoanting himself as Army Lieutentent. The arrested person disclosed his identity as Raman Singh S/o Pritam Singh R/o Rakh Floura Tehsil R.S Pura, Jammu. In this regard, a Case FIR No. 01/2022 U/S 420, 170, 171 IPC has been registered at PS Bari Brahmana and investigation started. |
