Jammu, Jan 2: Bharatiya Janata Party Member Parliament Jugal Kishore, on Sunday assured the local newspapers in Jammu that no injustice would be done with them. Talking to reporters here he said, “Newspapers published from Jammu work in accordance with national interest and their interests will be taken care of.” Asked why the government has stopped advertisements to Jammu newspapers, the senior BJP leader said, “This issue will be raised with the concerned authorities. These are our own newspapers, we will take care of them. Jammu newspapers report the truth and we are indebted to them.” Referring to a statement about metro operations in Jammu, he said, “I had stated in the Lok Sabha that the Daily Project Report is ready, not the metro project is ready.” He exuded hope that BJP will form the next government in J&K. “People are leaving other parties and are joining BJP as everyone is reposing faith in Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” he added. He said that Jammu people will get their own Chief Minister after the elections. |
