POONCH, Jan 2: Choudhary Bashir Kamran was today accorded a grand welcome by Apni Party leaders and workers on his nomination as District President ST Wing of the Party in Poonch District. To receive him, hundreds of people participated in the function which was organized under the chairmanship of Haji Yar Mohammad Geggi sb. Among those who spoke on the occasion include Khaki, Bilal Makhdomi, Shah Mohammed Chaand, Choudhary Munir, Ch Mohammed Azam, Bashir Naik, Saif Din Zarger, Sarpanch, Ajbar Tantray, Mushtaq Tantray, Haji Akbar Daya, Manzor Seth, Aqyoom, Ghulam Rasool, Dr Bashir Malik, Choudhary Safer and others. In his address, Ch Basir Kamran thanked Party President Syed Mohammed Altaf Bukhari, Provincial President, Jammu, Manjit Singh for nominating him as District President ST Wing and assured that he will work for the strengthening of the Party. Speaking on the occasion, former MLA, and District President of the Party in Poonch, Shah Mohammed Tantray said that the people have accepted the Party and its leadership which has worked for the welfare of Jammu and Kashmir when other politicians were avoiding speaking about the issues being confronted by the common man.b He said that “Altaf Bukhari has emerged as a popular leader of masses in J&K who represents the aspiration of the people of both the regions.”
He said that Apni Party is committed for equitable development of all the regions without discrimination. |
