Early Times Report JAMMU, Jan 10: The leaders of Shiv Sena Jammu and Kashmir unit have demanded the Union Territory Administration to honour Maharaja Hari Singh by declaring 23rd September as official holiday. In this regard the Shiv Sainiks in large numbers led by the party's State Unit President, Manish Sahni took out a rally that commenced from Bikram Chowk in Jammu towards the Maharaja Hari Singh statue site. Shiv Sainiks raised vociferous slogans demanding holiday on the birth anniversary of Maharaja on 23rd September. While welcoming the assurance of the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Sahni said that he hopes that the Lieutenant Governor will not let the people down. On this occasion president Mehila wing Meenakshi Chibber, Gen Secretary Vikas Bakshi, vice president Balwant Singh, Mohinder Pal Sharma, President Kamghar wing Raj Singh, president Yuva wing Binni Mahajan, Secretary Mahila wing Geeta Lakhotra, president Udhampur Sanjeev Sharma, Secretary Surinder Kumar, Prabhari Ashwani, Sahil, Dimple, Rajesh Handa, Raj Kumari, Pawan Singh, Sumit Abrol, Balbir Kumar and many others were present |
