| Amid Covid surge, GMC cancels vacation | | | Early Times Report
SRINAGAR, Jan 10: Amid surging Covid-19 cases, Government Medical College (GMC) Srinagar on Monday cancelled the winter vacation of all the faculty members of the College and its Associate hospitals.
The College Principal Dr Samia Rashid has asked faculty members to join duties from Tuesday.
"In view of sudden upsurge of COVID-19/OMICRON Cases, the Winter Vacation-2022 of Faculty Members stands cancelled and all the Faculty members of this Institution on vacation shall resume their duties on 11th January, 2022 (Tuesday), without fail," reads the order by Principal GMC Srinagar.
The GMC Srinagar faculty was on vacation from January 1.
