| GDC Sunderbani organizes essay writing competition | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
RAJOURI, Jan 11: NSS and NCC units in collaboration with Cultural Committee of Govt Degree College (GDC) Sunderbani organized Intra-college essay writing competition on theme “Empowering youth in making society free from social evils” as a part of celebrating National Youth Day. The programme was conducted under the supervision of Prof. (Dr.) Vandana Gupta, Principal of the College. Accordingly, the purpose of organizing essay on this theme is to spread awareness about power of youth in making evil free society. In the said competition a large number of students participated in which Ist position was secured by Saloni Sharma of Vth Sem, second position was secured by Sakshi Sharma of Vth Sem and third position was shared by Harsh mehra of 3rd Sem and Ansuja devi of vth sem.
The event was organized by NSS Programme Officer, Sham Lal, (Assistant Professor) Department of Economics, NCC Officer, Ravi Kumar, and Prof. Sheraz Kousser, Convener of the Cultural Committee. Dr. Mohd Azam and Dr Shehzad were the judges in the event. |
