| GDC Doongi organizes vaccination drive for students | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
RAJOURI, Jan 11: Shaheed Ghanisham Govt Degree College (GDC) Doongi in district Rajouri organized a vaccination drive for its students in the college premises on Tuesday.
The drive was conducted under the supervision of Block Medical Officer (BMO) Manjakote in which a large number of students below 18 years of age group participated and vaccinated against covid-19.
A number of students falling in age group 15-18 were administered 1st dose of vaccine against covid-19. RAT testing was also done for all unvaccinated students by the medical team led by Dr Vikas Sharma, Medical Officer at PHC Chatyar. Principal of the college, Dr. Shamim Ahmmed Azad thanked the Medical Officer and his entire team for providing an opportunity to the students under 18, to get a dose of vaccine at their doorstep. He further said that all students need to be fully vaccinated so that they may not be attacked by covid in future. The team of the vaccinators consisted of Dr Vikas Sharma supervisor, Sharda Devi and Rozia Kouser. |
