Govt has backstabbed us, says aspirant who had appeared for final job interview | ‘Helmsmen running the anarchical system on their whims and fancies’ | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 6: The decision of the government to withdraw the posts advertised prior to 2019 has left the youth in lurch. One of the aspirants, who had filled up the form for the post of Assistant Professor in the Film and TV Institute in 2017 while talking to a news channel said, “The process was going on for the past 5-years. After completing all the formalities like having cleared UGC Net exam, Phd, teaching experience and some work experience in film and TV industry we were shortlisted and our interviews were held in last week of December 2021,” he said. The aspirant said, “The recent decision of the government to withdraw all the posts has come as a shocker for them. We have been ditched when only the last formality was left i.e. selection list had to come. We have been stabbed in our backs.” He said, “Youth in Jammu and Kashmir have been left in lurch. They have no idea about what to do and where to go and whom to approach. The government should at least consider the posts for which the candidates had appeared for the interview.” The aspirant said, “Many candidates who had applied for these posts won’t be able to apply as they won’t be eligible due to them becoming overage. These posts being re-advertised means that more people will apply and the ones who had applied earlier will have to face a stiff competition. It seems that there is complete anarchy in J&K and the helmsmen are running the system on their whims and fancies.” |
