After Snow Igloo, "Taj Mahal" build at Gulmarg in Kashmir | | | Early Times Report SRINAGAR, Feb 11: Days after the world's largest snow Igloo café was inaugurated, the Grand Mumtaz Resorts has created a snow sculpture of one of the seven wonders of the world and the monument of love "Taj Mahal" at the ski resort of Gulmarg in Kashmir. The replica of "Taj Mahal" made out of the frozen snow has attracting the attention of tourists and locals who visit in large numbers to enjoy the hospitality of the hotel. It took 17 days for the hotel team members in sub- zero temperatures which at times plunged to minus 12 degree Celsius temperature to erect the replica of the monument of love, the "Taj Mahal" snow sculpture, said the General Manager of the hotel Satyajeet Gopal. He said, the "Taj Mahal" was made with the premises structure measuring 24 feet x 24 feet x 16 feet high in size with zero material expenses and without any professional assistance. "We conceived this idea after witnessing a huge influx of tourists in Gulmarg and made the Snow sculpture of "Taj Mahal" in Kashmir", he added "It will give a unique experience to all the tourists and locals who will visit the Gulmarg and Taj Mahal." Satyajeet said and added ""We have been offering traditional Kashmiri " Kehwa" with tidbits to all the visitors". He said, it has already become a hot-spot for all the visitors taking breathtaking pictures and selfies in the backdrop of the snow "Taj Mahal". "There are no entry fees or charges for visiting the place and it remains open round the clock," he said and added, "the first-ever snow-Taj Mahal in Kashmir has become a centre of attraction for local people as well as for the tourists throng the resort". The tourists expressed their thankfulness to management of the "chaya group" for offering traditional Kashmiri "Kehwa" with tidbits to all the visitors. |
