| DDC member gets angry at officials of Animal Husbandry deptt | | Chaos,confusion prevail at DDC meeting in Doda | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 11: DDC member from Kahara in Doda district Mehraj Malik today shouted during a meeting carried out by the council members with the Department of Animal Husbandry with respect to the schemes being run by the department for the benefit of the people.
Reports said that as the meeting was going on Mehraj shouted and said there is no fun of holding such meetings.
He said the decisions taken in the council meetings are never implemented in letter and spirit on ground. When a council member objected to the shouting he said that he is forced to shout.
Malik took pot-shots at the directives of Director Animal Husbandry Jammu who asked the council members to visit the far-flung areas and make the people aware about the government schemes.
He said that it is the job of the department adding that the department wants to shed its responsibility by asking the council members to carry out the awareness campaign. |
