| Ganga water will reach every house: Yogi | | | AGENCIES
FIROZABAD, Feb 15: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said on Tuesday that Ganga water will be delivered to every house in Firozabad and Tundla through Har Nal Ghar Yojana.
Addressing an election rally, Yogi said: "We are delivering safe drinking water to people, which will fail even RO water. We will deliver Ganga water to every household."
He added that his government was also committed to protecting farmers' interests.
"Of the Rs 36,000 crore loans of 86 lakh farmers in the state waived off by out government in the last five years, 54,000 farmers belong to Firozabad," he said.
Yogi said 54,000 poor and deprived people have got houses in Firozabad in the last five years.
He said the Uttar Pradesh government tried its best to save the life of every person affected by the pandemic.
He accused the opposition parties of looting traders, collecting goonda tax and extorting money from innocent residents.
He claimed that the BJP will register a landslide victory in the assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh. |
