Anjuman-e-Imamia organises one day conference

Jammu, Feb 15: A one day conference “Payam-e-Insaniyat Aur Islam” was organized by Anjuman-e-Imamia Jammu to commemorate the Birth Anniversary of Shah e Wilayat, Maula e Qayinaat Hazrat Ali (a.s). Various speakers from different states deliberated on the topic.
During the welcome address a brief introduction and history of Anjuman-e-Imamia was presented by president Syed Amanat Ali Shah. He said that round the year Anjuman-e-imamia organizes religious activities and also actively participated in the social activities of to maintain the brotherhood and communal harmony among the society.
Prof. Sujat Khan in his address said I really extend my warm welcome to all the dignitaries on this occasion. He further added that it is our duty to organize such kind of conferences on regular intervals to spread the message of ISLAM and role of ISLAM in every aspect of life and message should be reached to every individual.
The conference commenced with tilawat e Quran and after that the Guest speakers who have spoken on the topic were Maulana Mohammad Askari, Maulana Ghulam Hussain Hilori, Jenab Hussain Ahmed Sidiqi Advocate High Court And Maulana Habib Ur Rehman. The speakers deliberated on the concept “ISLAM and Humanity”. They further added that ISLAM always represent and spread the message of Humanity and equality among masses.
All the speakers highlighted the principles and teachings of ISLAM and emphasised to follow them. They said that Imam Ali is not a source of guidance for Muslims only but is a source of guidance for the whole mankind. Many non-Muslim authors are influenced from Imam Ali’s teachings and among them George Jordac a Christian author has written a book “THE VOICE OF HUMAN JUSTICE: A Biography of Imam Ali (a.s.)” in five volumes. George Jordac says, “After Ali-ibn Abi Talib (a.s.) I have not seen anyone worth writing about.”
Vice President Anumn-e-Imamia Syed Afaq Hussain Kazmi deliberated upon the concept of equality in ISLAM and role of ISLAM to make a healthy society. In the end vote of thanks was delivered by vice President of Anjuman e Imamia Jammu Syed Afaq Hussain Kazmi. He thanked all the dignitaries and guests who have spared their valuable time to make this conference a success. He further added,“We are thankful to each and everyone who participated one or the other way to make this event a grand success”. The program was conducted by Imam Jumma Shia Masjid Imamia Jammu Janab Maulana Syed Ali Badshah.
