JAMMU, Mar 8: Sai Shyam Educational Institution, Ghou-Manhasan, Jammu celebrated International Women's Day, in which women's of Lohri Chak along with the staff and students participated. C L Tickoo, Chairman of the society was the chief guest.
Dr. Usha Tickoo, Principal of the College of Education highlighted the importance of the role played by the women in the society and made the women of the area aware about the government programmes for the women welfare in this country. Students of the college as well as school presented different cultural items which were appreciated by the audience. Anita Ganjoo, Principal of the School in her address highlighted the importance of role played by women in and around our society. Students of B Ed enthralled the audience with their melodious songs. |
