Weather to remain dry in Kashmir | | | Early Times Report SRINAGAR, Mar 8: The Kashmir valley experienced bright sunshine making the weather pleasant on Tuesday after experiencing snow and rain a day before. The Meteorological department forecasts mainly dry weather over Jammu and Kashmir with isolated light rain, snow and traces during the next two days. Fair weather conditions prevailed in Srinagar and its adjoining areas with the maximum temperature recorded as 10.2 degree Celsius on Tuesday while the minimum temperature was a low of 5.4 degree Celsius. It also received 4.3 mm of rainfall till 0830hours. Pahalgam in south Kashmir recorded a low of minus 2.2 degree Celsius and it also received 5.2mm of rainfall till 0830hours on Tuesday. The ski resort of Gulmarg in north Kashmir recorded a low of minus 4.5 degree Celsius and it also received 10.4 mm of rainfall till 0830hours. Qazigund also in south Kashmir recorded a low of 5.5 degree Celsius and it also received a rainfall of 2.4mm, Kokernag recorded 3.4 and received 8.6 mm of rainfall while Kupwara recorded a low of 3.6 degree Celsius and it also received a rainfall of 8.6mm till 830 hours on Tuesday. |
