Jammu, Mar 8: To celebrate the essence of women power, gender equality & equal opportunities for women, CA. Nakul Saraf, Chairman of J&K branch of NIRC of ICAI alongwith other members of managing committee CA. Priya Seht, CA. Vikas Purdhani, CA. Vineet Kohli, CA. Ayush Sawhney, and CA. Sourav Pargal honored the women members & students on the occasion of international women’s Day at ICAI Bhawan, Canal road, Jammu. The Branch on the said occasion organized various events across UT where women members were honored and felicitated. Members from Kashmir region honored & felicitated ACIT, Smt. Abhishri. Further an Investor Awareness workshop was organized for employees of NRLM and SHG members of Block Dhpora Kulgam by branch representative Sabzar Ahmad Wagay. As per the recent data, 27.8% of the membership belongs to Women Chartered Accountants who are successfully contributing to various fields of the profession including accountancy, direct taxes, indirect taxes, company law matters, strategic decision making, international business and taxation, and project finance, among others.
ICAI has always contributed towards women empowerment & in maintaining a work life balance for females in the profession. |
