| International Women’s Day celebrated at K B Public School | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 8: A glittering function was organized in connection with International Women Day at K B Public School Jammu.
A number of dignitaries were present on the occasion with Dr. Ruveda Salam as Chief Guest. On this occasion, Chairman Gurjar Desh Charitable Trust and K .B. Public School while highlighting the importance of this day stressed for gender equality in every working sector for real development of society as a strong nation.
Director of the School Nighat Sultana called the parents to encourage the girls in the family for higher studies in the society.
In her speech the chief guest gave a brief of her journey from a remote village of Farkian in Kupwara with childhood spent in peak of militancy to completing MBBS and finally qualifying IPS exams.
She recalled her continuous struggle and about her difficulties and finally how she came out of all these in the end. |
