JAMMU, Mar 11: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Councillor Amit Gupta kick started lane and drain works at Chand Nagar in Ward-19 at the cost of Rs 5 lakhs. Speaking on the occasion, Councillor Amit Gupta appealed the general public to come forward and cooperate with Jammu Municipal Corporation in various development works undertaken by it within the Jammu city.
He urged upon the residents to avoid using single use plastics and polythene in their routine work while he also asked them not to throw debris, garbage or filth in the public drains, lanes and nallahs.
Amit Gupta urged the people to adopt the habit of segregation of dry and wet garbage at their own level so that Jammu can be made neat, clean, green and a beautiful city. |
