| Handicapped people accuse J&K admin of denying jobs | | |

JAMMU, Mar 12: The handicapped people of the Jammu & Kashmir union territory have accused the administration of playing truant and denying jobs to them under the various provisions of the Disability Act applicable in the union territory.
The handicapped people under the ambit of Jammu & Kashmir Handicapped Association are on a protest these days and they said that although they were promised class IV jobs no such job was given to them.
The protesters said that benefits due to them are not being given thus leading to disillusionment among them. |
