After spending Rs 2 cr, Govt fails to handover hospital building to Health Deptt | | | Early Times Report
Pulwama, Mar 12: After spending Rs 2 crore on a hospital building here in South Kashmir, the government has failed to hand it over to the Health Department. The building, according to the locals, has turned into a haven for drug addicts and other unscrupulous elements. “This newly constructed building has been damaged and if it’s not handed over to the Health Department it will turn into ruins,” they added. Residents said, “One fails to understand why this building has not been handed over to the Health Department. Our Primary Health Centre (PHC) functions from a 2-room rented accommodation. The Managing Director of the Police Housing Corporation and Director Health Services Kashmir should visit the area and take a final decision about this building.” |
