Srinagar, Mar 12: Asha workers staged a protest here on Saturday, demanding a hike in their salaries.
Protesting Asha workers told reporters that they have been working overtime during the past many years. “We are paid a meager salary of Rs 2000/ per month.
We worked 24x7 during the pandemic and were promised a salary hike but no raise was given.”
They said, “We have been exploited by the people in power and no one is paying any attention towards our plight.” |
