NHM employees give 2-day ultimatum to admin | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 5: National Health Mission (NHM) employees today carried out a protest in support of their demands and said that in case their contracts are not extended by April 7 they would be forced to lodge a strong protest outside Raj Bhawan. The protesters said that it is disturbing that they have to submit a memorandum every three months so that their contract is extended. They rue that LG Manoj Sinha is playing to galleries while doing nothing for the NHM employees. They said that despite promises the administration has not framed a policy for them. The protesters said that they are giving an ultimatum to the administration upto April 7 and after that they would lodge protest outside the Raj Bhawan. They said the protest would not be a peaceful one and that the administration would be responsible for the consequences thereof. |
