| ACB raids 2 locations in Kishtwar | | | Asif Iqbal Naik

Kishtwar, Apr 5: Taking strong note of various complaints related to corruption in various departments, the sleuths of Anti Corruption Bureau Doda/Kishtwar/Ramban range today conducted the surprise raids at two different locations in Kishtwar town. As per the details ACB sleuths conducted search I’m the house of retired Executive Engineer PHE Abdul Wahid Zargar at his residence located near Government Girls Higher Secondary School Kishtwar along with another PHE official Javed Iqbal Shah.
The ACB according to the sources was probing Multi Crore carriage scandal in Kishtwari , Naigard Water Supply scandal, water lifting supply and works executed without tendering worth several crores.
The official sources told the Early Times that the case is related to the frauds and disproportionate assets beyond the known sources of income. The sources said that more raids will be conducted in the district in near future added that more departments viz RDD, Food, PMGSY, R&B are also under scrutiny. |
