SRINAGAR, Apr 23: Security forces shot dead one more militant in an ongoing operation in south Kashmir's Kulgam district, taking the toll to two, officials said here on Saturday.
The encounter started this evening at Mirhama area of Kulgam, when police and Army was carrying out a search operation.
"In the initial firing, a Pakistani Jaish-e-Mohammad terrorist was killed. Second terrorist has also been shot dead," a police officer said, adding that the operation was underway.
