JAMMU, May 31: One day awareness programme was held at Govt. Gandhi Memorial Science College, Jammu today. The awareness programme was organized by Civil Defence, Jammu under the supervision of Dy.SP. Anita Pawar, Dy. Controller Civil Defence Jammu in which awareness about the basic knowledge of First Aid, CPR, Chocking, Fire fighting, and other emergency rescue methods were given by the Civil Defence expert. The awareness programme was attended by (100) NSS students of the College. During the programme demonstration on the above said topics were also presented by the Civil Defence team. While speaking on the occasion Dy. SP. Anita Pawar, Dy. Controller CD Jammu highlighted the importance of Civil Defence. The main aim of the awareness programme was to make aware the students and with regard to preventive measures during natural/ manmade Disaster. |
