| Centre will harass us ahead of elections: Farooq | | | Early Times Report
Srinagar, May 31; Ahead of questioning by the Enforcement Directorate, National Conference President and former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah alleged that such harassment will continue till elections happen.
Abdullah was speaking to the media before entering the office of the Enforcement Directorate here after being summoned for questioning for alleged money laundering in the Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA).
“As the elections approach, this (harassment) will continue,” Abdullah said.
Abdullah expressed grief over the death of Panthers Party President Bhim Singh and said he always talked about unity and humanity. “I am deeply saddened about the demise of Prof Bhim Singh.”
He said Bhim Singh always spoke the truth about the rights of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. |
