Female Multipurpose Workers Welfare Association extends support to June 6 strike call | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 31: Jammu & Kashmir Female Multipurpose Workers Welfare Association organized a press conference under Neelam Kumari, President JKFMPHW to highlight the burning long pending demands of health employees. The main demands of health employees projected are Departmental Promotion Committee (promotions) of all categories in the health department pending from the last four years. It was said that many health employees have retired without getting the benefits of promotion & several posts are lying vacant in the health department. Kumari said that service subordinate recruitment rules SRO-20 file was kept pending in the office of Secretary-General Administrative Department Civil Secretariat, Jammu for the last four months for the final approval. She said the administrative department has failed to frame rules of promotion and leaving us no choice other than to go to full day strike on 6-6-2022. “UT Government of Jammu & Kashmir also failed to resolve the salary problems of Female Multi-Purpose Health Workers and other staff getting salaries under Head -2211 Family Welfare. The wages of FMPHWs have been pending for the last five months. Many FMPHW workers are on the verge of starvation, and many are not getting their treatment due to not being the released of their salary,” said Kumari. Kumari said that registration of all the leftover government pharmacists under new central pharmacy Act1948 section 32-C which is implemented in UT after the revocation of article 370 should be taken up. She said that restoration of old pension scheme for all UT employees on the analogy of neighbouring states like Rajasthan should be done. |
