Early Times Report JAMMU, June 3: Rotary Club of Jammu Midtown installed a water cooler and water purifier for students and staff members in Govt Boys Middle School, Gorakh Nagar under the presidentship of Rtn Meenakshi Bhasin. The school was adopted by the Rotary Club of Jammu Midtown. Speaking on the occasion, Rtn Meenakshi Bhasin said that the aim behind the installation of a Water Cooler and water purifier at school was to provide potable and palatable drinking water to reduce water-borne diseases and foster healthy living. The water cooler and water purifier were handed over to the Principal of school in presence of the Chief Guest, Dr Dushyant Choudhary (DGE) Distt 3070 by Rtn Meenakshi Bhasin. Principal of the School, Manjeet Kaur and other staff were also present on the occasion. This initiative of the Rotary Club of Jammu Midtown was greatly appreciated and welcomed by the school teachers and students. They expressed profound gratitude for the commitments shown by the Club. The Chief Guest, while praising the initiatives of Rotary Club of Jammu Midtown, said that it was indeed a long pending demand which has been met by Rotary Club of Jammu Midtown. He also stated that youngsters are the future of our country and it is our prime duty to help them in every way possible.
