JAMMU, June 3: One day awareness programme was held at Village Kanachak, Jhiri, Jammu, which was organized by Civil Defence, Jammu under the close supervision of Dy.SP, Anita Pawar, Dy. Controller Civil Defence Jammu. Awareness about the basic knowledge of First Aid, CPR, Chocking, Fire fighting, and other Emergency rescue methods were given by the Civil Defence expert. During the programme demonstration on the above said topics were also presented by the Civil Defence team. The awareness programme was attended by 50 civilians including ladies of the area. The main aim of the awareness programme was to make aware the civilians with regard to preventive measures during natural or manmade disaster.
On the occasion Dy. SP. Anita Pawar delivered valuable lecture on the topics of Disaster Management and highlighted the role and importance of Civil Defence organization.
