| Cop killed, another injured in accident | | |

Srinagar, July 14: A Jammu and Kashmir police personnel was killed and his pillion rider was injured in a road accident in Anantnag district on Thursday, sources said.
The two off-duty men were on their way home on a motorcycle were hit by a vehicle near the Zirpora area of Bijbehara.
The source said both were shifted to a nearby hospital, where one succumbed to his injuries. The deceased has been identified as Tariq Ahmad Ahanger of Verinag and the injured as Ishfaq Ahmad Ahanger from Nowpora Dooru. |
