Deferring reorganization of PWD shows Govt incompetent, bamboozled: Javed Rana
4/6/2023 10:30:41 PM
Early Times Report
MENDHAR, Apr 6: Coming down heavily against J&K Government's irrational order deferring the move of restructuring and reorganization of R&B and Public Works Departments (PWD), Javed Rana President JKNC Pirpanjal Zone and former MLA said that the incumbent dispensation is incompetent and perplexed as in the past couple of years it has not accomplished a single work flawlessly and blunders and U-turns have become a new norm under this regime.
Addressing a gathering at JK NC Office Mendhar, the senior NC leader said that in January 2023, an order was issued on the basis of previous NC Government's move of reorganization of administrative units to restructure and reorganize the R&B department and PWD whereby Chief Engineer were supposed to placed at Pir Panjal Division, SE at Poonch, XEn at Mendhar and AEE at Balakote but unfortunately the directionless government has cancelled the aforesaid order yesterday giving wrong signals to the people who were quite optimistic over the aforesaid proposal. The senior NC leader said that the government has proved out to be total failure because the scams which had come to fore in the recent recruitment processes whereby many exams and even selections had to be annulled shows that everything is not right with this government and scamsters are ruling the roost.
Javed Rana demanded that the restructuring of R&B department and PWD, which was scheduled for April 4, 2023 should be carried out henceforth as arbitrariness of this level is unacceptable. He also castigated the government over proposal of changing the name of Mughal road claiming that Mughals played a significant role in making the country wealthy and fostering amity and brotherhood between different communities. He evoked the term Ganga Jamuni Tehzeeb, which is associated with Mughals to create bonhomie between Muslims and Hindus in their era.
The former MLA appealed to the government not to go for such misadventure of changing the name of Mughal road as this move could not change the history and the facts
