100 laptops distributed to Govt Schools for girl students | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, May 30: Director School Education Jammu, Ashok Kumar Sharma, distributed 100 laptops to government school girls in Jammu division. The laptops were provided to promote digital literacy and IT awareness among girls, in alignment with the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The distribution took place at a function held at Government Girls Higher Secondary School Mubarak Manadi. The Director emphasized the importance of bridging the digital divide and empowering girl students through access to digital platforms and IT education. The program aims to provide the latest teaching aids and tools to students and ensure equal access to digital education for all. The event marked a significant milestone in promoting digital literacy in Jammu and Kashmir, particularly among girls who face various social and cultural barriers. The laptops were donated by Paytm in collaboration with Mahamana Malaviya Mission, Jaipur, and further efforts are planned to expand the initiative and benefit more girls in the region.
