JAMMU, June 6: The NSS Unit of Dogra Law College, in collaboration with IQAC, organized a poster making competition on the theme "Save Water Save Earth" to commemorate World Environment Day, observed on June 5th each year.
Participants from BA LLB 5-year and LLB 3-year (Prof.) courses showcased their creativity and understanding of the importance of water conservation in our daily lives. The competition aimed to raise awareness among students about the significance of water conservation in protecting our Mother Earth. The students exhibited great enthusiasm and dedication, making the event a success.
The judges, including Prof. Darshana Sharma, Director of DGC & CD,. Sumiksha Razdan, Senior Lecturer at Dogra Law College, and Parema Bakshi, Lecturer at Dogra Law College, faced the challenging task of selecting the winners based on theme relevance, originality, and creativity. Tsechu Lamo from BA LL.B 5-year 2nd semester secured the first prize, Megha Chouhan from BA LL.B 5-year 6th semester won the second prize, and Mehak Mahajan from BA LL.B 5-year 2nd semester received the third prize.
The judges praised the participants for their original and creative portrayal of the World Environment Day theme. |
