| SKUAST-K conducts successful UET-2023 for UG admissions | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, June 6: Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences & Technology of Kashmir (SKUAST-K) successfully conducted the University Entrance Test (UET) - 2023 for admission to various Undergraduate degree programs. The exam took place at 17 designated centers across the Union Territory, including 14 centers in Kashmir and 3 centers in Jammu.
Out of the 10,800 candidates who had applied for the programs, an impressive 9,900 candidates (92%) appeared for the UET.
The University ensured smooth and fair conduct of the examination by forming teams of observers and appointing Chief Observers to oversee the arrangements and proceedings at the designated centers. An external observer from Kashmir University also supervised the examination at one of the centers.
Professor Nazir Ahmad Ganai, the Vice-Chancellor of SKUAST-K, visited the examination centers in Srinagar and interacted with the Principals, invigilation staff, and candidates. The candidates expressed their satisfaction with the arrangements made by the University for the successful conduct of the Entrance Test.
SKUAST-Kashmir expressed gratitude to the Divisional Commissioner, Police Administration, Principals, Chief Superintendents, invigilation staff, and media personnel for their support and cooperation in ensuring a fair and smooth examination process.
The Vice-Chancellor congratulated the entire University staff for their tireless efforts in organizing the entrance examination seamlessly. |
