8th round of "Kisan Sampark Abhiyan" concludes in Ramban | | | Early Times Report RAMBAN, June 14: The 8th round of the ongoing Kisan Sampark Abhiyan (Farmers Orientation program - HADP) under the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav with the theme Aatmanirbhar Bharat was successfully held in the blocks of Ramban district. The campaign concluded on a positive note with an overwhelming response from the farming community in all ten blocks of the district. Audio-visual aids were used to disseminate information about different government-sponsored schemes aimed at the welfare of farmers associated with agriculture, animal husbandry, sheep husbandry, horticulture, apiculture, pisciculture, sericulture, etc. Resource persons from different departments educated farmers about the various agro-based schemes. Informative booklets regarding the HADP schemes were distributed among the participants in three languages. Furthermore, farmers were made aware of the Daksh Kisan (online learning portal for skill development) and Kisan Sathi (IT Dashboard) portals offering online services/schemes. The resource persons urged farmers to participate in the 'Kisan Sampark Abhiyan' to benefit from orientation and skilling courses for all interventions, learn about the latest techniques, explore new possibilities, and make farming more accessible and profitable. During the program, farmers raised various queries, which were amicably resolved by the concerned resource persons. The event witnessed a significant participation of farmers, mostly unemployed youth, at each venue, and 578 farmers were registered during the eighth round of Kisan Sampark Abhiyan for the baseline survey conducted by the Skill gap study resource persons. |
