Early Times Report JAMMU, June 14: The two-day training programme on "Enable Police Officers to be Custodian of society - Mission Karmayogi" concluded today. Mission Karmayogi is the National Programme for Civil Services Capacity Building, focused on creating a competent civil service rooted in Indian ethos and aligned with India's priorities, to enhance effective and efficient public service delivery. The training aimed to instill a change in attitude and skill set among government employees. A group of 30 trainee officials from the ongoing Intermediate Class Course of J&K Police underwent training in eight modules based on the provided workbook by the Capacity Building Commission. The training adopted a participative learning model, emphasizing the concept of Sewa Shakti (selfless service), professional conduct, and a caring approach for the community's benefit, system improvement, and personal growth. Through brainstorming sessions, the participants recognized the significance of every stakeholder interaction as an opportunity for Karmayogi moments that contribute to peace and happiness in society. The programme's valediction function was organized, and Sunmati Gupta, Dy.SP Asstt. Director (Q) SKPA Udhampur, graced the occasion.
