JAMMU, June 14: In preparation for the forthcoming G-20 4th Education Working Group (EdWG) meeting, Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 2, Akhnoor, and Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 2 AFS Srinagar organized a series of activities virtually. The aim was to raise awareness about the G-20, Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN), National Educational Policy 2020 (NEP 2020), and promote a sense of pride among students, teachers, parents, and the community as a whole. The activities, which began on June 1, 2023, included quiz competitions, screenings on FLN, essay writing, speech competitions, poem recitation, interactive sessions on waste management, poster making, plantation drives, and storytelling. The enthusiastic participation of staff, students, and parents made these events a great success, fostering a deeper understanding of G-20 and the importance of sustainable development goals (SDGs). |
