Jammu Sanskriti school triumphs with 7 Gold medals in district-level speedball championship

Jammu, Sept 4: The talented students of Jammu Sanskriti School have once again showcased their sporting prowess by securing an impressive total of 7 gold medals at the District-Level Speedball Championship-2023 held at Government School Satwari. This event, organized by the Department of Youth Service and Sports, featured participants in the Under-14, Under-17, and Under-19 categories.
A commendable contingent of 15 students from Jammu Sanskriti School actively participated in this prestigious championship. The outstanding performance of the school’s athletes resulted in the acquisition of 7 gold medals, a testament to their dedication and skill.
In the Under-14 category, Ishaan Sharma and Karanveer Singh Raina clinched gold medals in the doubles event, showcasing their remarkable teamwork and agility. Moving on to the Under-17 division, Shivam and Prafful Kumar secured the gold medal in the doubles category, while Raghav and Manav displayed exemplary skills in the solo event, each claiming a gold medal.
The Under-19 category saw Dhruv Choudhary achieve gold in the singles event, further adding to the school’s impressive medal tally.
The Principal Cum Chairperson of Jammu Sanskriti School, Mrs. Rohini Aima, expressed her heartfelt appreciation for the students who participated in the Speedball Championship. She also praised their coach, Mr. Sunny Nanda, a dedicated sports coach whose guidance and mentorship played a pivotal role in shaping the athletes’ success.
