| Excise department takes “Bhrastachar Mukht Bharat pledge” to promote good governance | | |  Early Time Report
Jammu, Sept 4: The Excise Department of Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory held a “Bhrastachar Mukht Bharat Pledge” ceremony on September 4, 2023, to promote a culture of honesty, integrity, good governance, transparency, accountability, and fairness. The pledge ceremony aimed to eradicate corruption within the organization and foster a corruption-free society.
Officers and staff of the Excise & Taxation Department gathered at the Excise & Taxation Complex in Jammu to participate in the ceremony. The ceremony was attended by the Excise Commissioner of Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory, Sh. Pankaj Kumar Sharma, JKAS, Deputy Excise Commissioner (Executive) of Jammu, Smt. Kusum Sharma, JKAS, as well as Excise & Taxation Officers and other staff members.
The “Bhrastachar Mukht Bharat Pledge” reinforces the commitment of the Excise Department to maintain the highest standards of ethical service practices, promote transparency, and uphold the principles of good governance.
