Additional Public Prosecutor Shahzad Ahmad Yatoo while opposing the bail said that the accused is involved in non-bailable offences, which are heinous in nature and as such cannot claim bail as a matter of right. “The accused has committed an offence against the society. So the application may be rejected,” Yatoo said. The court while rejecting the bail application said that the offences committed by the accused are heinous in nature and are against the dignity of a female, which needs attention of this court. “The accused does not deserve bail at this stage as there is every apprehension of repetition of the offences,” it added. |
