Jammu, Aug 11: Jammu Kashmir Sharnarthi Action Committee (JKSAC) today held a meeting in which they hailed Union Home Minister Raj Nath Singh statement made in Parliament on yesterday stated that "No power on earth can snatch Jammu Kashmir from India and are not going to talk to Pakistan over Kashmir which is an integral part of India".
Committee president Gurdev Singh urged upon Central Government to give practical shape to such assertions / statements to resolve the Kashmir Tangle once for all as the DP's of 1947 from POK beside their hardships they are suffering from such a long time are with the government and prepared to make all sorts of sacrifices to get their ancestral areas of POK vacated from the illegal occupation of Pakistan.
He suggested that no solution will be affected to end the turmoil and peace cannot prevail until and unless POK is not vacated by India and Pakistan had not been taught a lesson to stop medaling in Kashmir Affairs. They further urged upon Dr Nirmal Singh and both the PM's Dr. Jatinder Singh and Jugal Kishore Sharma to take up the issue of the DP's on priority and formulate a comprehensive road map as per the recommendation of JPC and also get released Rs. 2000 crores announced by PM as a relief for early disbursement. |
